Ray Horton is associate professor of English at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, where he teaches American literature.
Horton’s writing has been published in PMLA, Christianity & Literature, LIT: Literature, Interpretation, Theory, and Post45. His book manuscript in progress is titled American Fiction’s Secular Faith. He recently served as President of the American Religion and Literature Society, and he was named “2023 College Teacher of the Year” by the Kentucky Council of Teachers of English (KCTE/LA).
